Video Stream app
Play a live or on-demand video from any public URL — MP4, HLS (.m3u8), or any format your player device can decode.
Creating a Video Stream app
- Go to Content > Add > New app and search for the Video stream player app.
- Click the app to start creating a new app.
- Enter an app name.
- Enter the Video Stream URL — must be publicly accessible over HTTP or HTTPS.
- Turn off Loop video or Mute video audio if needed — both are on by default.
- Click Create app.
For a local video file, use the Content library instead
If you just want to play a video file you own, upload it to the Content library — the stream app is for remote URLs that change or are too large to upload.
